This magnificent possessió, one of the most outstanding among Mallorcan estates, has a rich historical tradition. It dates back to the 17th century and is the tenth largest agricultural and livestock estate in Mallorca, having extended in the past to the municipalities of Son Sant Joan and Sant Jordi. The first mention of the estate dates back to 1588, when the first buildings were built, which were extended in 1789.
After several decades of inactivity, the estate was carefully restored between 2006 and 2007, respecting its Mallorcan character and integrating modern and elegant elements. The outdoor areas and gardens were also recovered, incorporating a wide variety of aromatic plants, bougainvillea, roses and palm trees, which today fill the estate with color and life. In addition, the fields, orchards and fruit trees were replanted, including carob, orange, lemon and more than 6000 olive trees of different varieties, which produce the prestigious Extra Virgin Olive Oil Son Mir.
